Each pen would draw inspiration from a special event or sighting during that month. In April 2023, the limited edition “The Day of Spring” adopts sakura as the theme. The pen barrel is crafted from ebonite and shaped to have 12 sides. The lacquer artist first hand paints a soft beige lacquer layer by layer, and then creates a seamless gradient with pink lacquer. The pen comes with a Japanese-made Sailor 14k-gold nib. Purely handmade, limited to 88 pieces worldwide. A Japanese-made kimono pen pouch is included in the gift box.
