I love this pen, well built, different mechanism, looks beautiful. It's heavy, but that's not the issue. It writes very wet but this pen skips a lot, and it drives me crazy. The top to bottom lines become needle point and sometimes just won't lay down any ink. I mean the skipping issue exists even if the pen writes wet like when I prime it. And worse if I use it after a day or two it writes mostly dry. Yes I close it properly, no hard start. Maybe I received a faulty nib or Lamy extra fine nibs are bad.
In the attached image you can see at the top, I draw many vertical lines and some of them have only the end they basically skipped. Also notice the word 'pen'. I used Herbin Poussiere de Lune ink here. I also tried Diamine Earl Grey same issue.
