The Aurora 88 Plutone fountain pen (Limited Edition) is named after the planet Pluto and is the ninth release in Aurora’s Stellar Collection, following the Sole, Nebulosa, Marte, Urano, Saturno, Nettuno, Mercurio, and Giove. The cap and barrel are made from a light blue Auroloide material while the cap’s finial, grip section, and piston knob are made from black resin. It features a rhodium-plated 18k gold nib. Aurora, an Italian brand was found in 1919 in Turin. The use of precious materials, superb craftsmanship, attention to detail is the hallmark of Aurora pens. There's a nice ink window that hides underneath the cap. The 88 has Aurora's special reservoir that allows you to get another page or so of writing even when you think you've run out of ink. You just unscrew the piston knob and that releases enough ink to let you finish your thoughts.
