    DESCRIPTION

    This 12 faceted Taccia Kaku-Tate Urushi Ryu-ryoku Fountain Pen gets its inspiration from science and geometrical balance. Simple design with contrast lines emphasises the Japanese tradition of minimalism. Each ebonite pen is coated with layers of Urushi lacquer by expert Japanese craftsmen. The barrel is painstakingly sanded to bring out the intricate 12-sided shape and the duo-tone contrast from the Urushi lacquer underneath. An additional layer of Urushi is then applied to protect and seal the polished surface. Since each pen is handcrafted by expert Japanese craftsmen it makes every fountain pen a unique and individual masterpiece.

    Taccia Kaku-Tate Urushi Fountain Pen Ryu-ryoku comes with Gold trim and has a Cartridge, Converter (Included) filing mechanism. It comes enhanced with a 14K Gold nib made by Sailor, Japan. All Urushi pens are sensitive to sunlight and should not be exposed to sun for a prolonged time. Available in nib sizes Extra Fine | Fine | Medium Fine | Medium | Broad | Zoom | Music.     Had to order twice as I spilled almost all of my first bottle.

    First scented ink for me and it really put to shame the next ones I got. Has the smell of Kopiko sweet. This has a very pronounced and bold smell unlike other perfumed inks that has a faint mild smell. Really made my room smell like coffee when I accidentally spilled most of the ink of a full bottle. But I ordered another immediately as the ink was that good.

    Coming to the color of the ink It has a nice dark brown color with some shading as well. No Sheen observed in TR68 paper. The ink isn't that dry but not very free flowing either. There's some viscosity to the ink. Not sure how it would perform on a dry feeding Pen. But this ink really deserves a wet medium to broad nib to put down that much ink to make the room smell nice as well as see the shading of the ink.
