Taccia Ukiyo-e Hokusai Green is an ebonite and urushi laquer fountain pen with the colors from the opera "Fine Breezy Day" of Hokusai. Every pen is inspired by Hokusai and from the color of Taccia fountain pen ink made with this opera theme. The design of this pen came from the scabbard of the Japanese Samurai sword and it is a perfect cylindric made with precious and high-quality ebonite. Every fountain pen is handmade underneath several coats of Urushi lacquer, then burnished to sheen and visibility. Finally, multiple layers of ki-urushi are applied and polished many times until each Taccia Ukiyo-e Hokusai is created. It requires highly skilled craftsmanship to produce each masterpiece. This limited edition pen is a unique piece of art signed by hand from the Urushi artist who made it.
Taccia Ukiyo-e Urushi Fountain Pen Hokusai Green comes with Gold trim and has a Cartridge, Converter (Included) filing mechanism. It comes enhanced with a 14K Gold nib made by Sailor, Japan.
