TACCIA Iro-joukei Urushi Fountain Pen - Sky of Reimei (Daybreak) (Limited Edition). In October 2022, TACCIA began a challenging series, in which they would release a new urushi fountain pen each month. Each pen would draw inspiration from a special event or sighting during that month. Inspired by the color of the sky of daybreak, Japanese brand TACCIA released their fourth Iro-joukei limited edition series urushi fountain pen: “Sky of Reimei”(Daybreak) in January 2023. The pen barrel is crafted from ebonite and shaped to have 12 sides. The lacquer artist handpaints black and red lacquer, layer by layer, creating a stunning gradient between the two shades. The surface is then repeatedly varnished and polished by hand to create a smooth and delicate touch. The pen comes with a Japanese-made 14k-gold nib. The pen is limited to 88 pieces worldwide.
