The Pilot Metropolitan is the complete package. Handsome, well made, and surprisingly affordable, every member of the Pilot Metropolitan series is just as at home in the boardroom as it is as a knock-around everyday writer. The Pilot Metropolitan is seriously classy. Its brass body is beautifully curved, with a cigar-like shape. It has an overall matte finish and a glossy or patterned band just below the cap. The fountain pens have black plastic grip sections and snap-on caps with simple metal clips. The caps can be posted on the backs of the pens. The MR1 is the original line of MR Series. The barrel comes in classy metallic colours while subtle pattern decorates the middle ring. Pilot Metropolitan MR1 Fountain Pen Black comes fitted with our precision Stainless Steel Nib. You get an option to choose from Fine and Medium.
