TACCIA Iro-joukei Urushi Fountain Pen - The Color of Camellia (Limited Edition). In October 2022, TACCIA began a challenging series, in which they would release a new urushi fountain pen each month. Each pen would draw inspiration from a special event or sighting during that month. In February 2023, the limited edition "The Color of Camellia" was released, made from exquisite Japanese lacquer art. The Japanese Camellia naturally occurs in areas of heavy snowfall during the winter time, and has soft, yet stunning red petals with yellow stamens. There is no fragrance, and hence its flower language is "humble gentleness". The pen barrel is crafted from ebonite and shaped to have 12 sides. The lacquer artist hand paints a red lacquer layer by layer, and creates a soft gradient with gold powder. The pen comes with a Japanese-made Sailor 14k-gold nib. The pen is limited to 88 pieces worldwide.
