    DESCRIPTION

    The word “AIZEN” represents a landscape covered by cloud, fog or mist. This pen derives its name from Asamoya : A morning mist. The scenery surrounded by many mountains makes for a wonderful gradation of fog and mist covering the mountain from the top to bottom. This AIZEN fountain pen is designed inspired by the fusion of beautiful landscape and fog. The urushi technic in Silver called “Kansitsu” (dry-urushi) is a technique of creating a rough surface of the body thereby giving a bitter and solemn impression. This limited edition pen is a unique piece of art signed by hand from the Urushi artist who made it.

    Taccia Aizen Urushi Fountain Pen Asamoya comes with Silver trim and has a Cartridge, Converter (Included) filing mechanism. It comes enhanced with a 14K Gold nib made by Sailor, Japan. All Urushi pens are sensitive to sunlight and should not be exposed to sun for a prolonged time. Available in nib sizes Extra Fine | Fine | Medium Fine | Medium | Broad | Zoom | Music.     Had to order twice as I spilled almost all of my first bottle.

    First scented ink for me and it really put to shame the next ones I got. Has the smell of Kopiko sweet. This has a very pronounced and bold smell unlike other perfumed inks that has a faint mild smell. Really made my room smell like coffee when I accidentally spilled most of the ink of a full bottle. But I ordered another immediately as the ink was that good.

    Coming to the color of the ink It has a nice dark brown color with some shading as well. No Sheen observed in TR68 paper. The ink isn't that dry but not very free flowing either. There's some viscosity to the ink. Not sure how it would perform on a dry feeding Pen. But this ink really deserves a wet medium to broad nib to put down that much ink to make the room smell nice as well as see the shading of the ink.
