Kaweco designed the Dia2 fountain pen to embody timeless beauty like a "DIAmond". It features an iridium point steel nib, a shiny black acrylic body, a solid brass clip, and additional gold-colored accents including Kaweco logos on the cap and back end. The distinctive knurling on the cap and end of the barrel has been a unique design element since Dia2 was launched in the 1930s. With its screw-on cap, the pen stays securely closed when not in use. A blue short international ink cartridge and gift box are included. The cartridge comes inside the barrel of the pen. If the cartridge seems to be stuck inside the barrel, try gently tapping the barrel against a hard surface a few times to dislodge it.

Kaweco Dia2 Fountain Pen Gold comes with Gold Plated trim and has a Cartridge / Converter (Not Included) filing mechanism. You can use a Standard International Converter with this pen. The pen is packaged in a nice and elegant kaweco tin box.
