TACCIA Iro-joukei Urushi Fountain Pen - Mutsu-no-Hana (Six Flowers) (Limited Edition). In October 2022, TACCIA began a challenging series, in which they would release a new urushi fountain pen each month. Each pen would draw inspiration from a special event or sighting during that month. Snowflakes is called “six flowers” in Japan, due to its hexagonal shape. In December 2022, Japanese brand TACCIA has released their third Iro-joukei limited edition series urushi fountain pen: “Mutsu no Hana(Six flowers)”. The pen barrel is crafted from ebonite and shaped to have 12 sides. The lacquer artist hand paints a soft beige urushi layer by layer, and adds silver glitter powder at the end of the pen to create a dreamy scene of the snowfall.
