The Homo Sapiens Dark Crystal fountain pen is a fusion of resin and lava dust from Mt Etna. The pen’s distinctive and contemporary elegance is given by the black barrel, reminiscent of volcano slopes, and other dark components such as the metalwork and 18kt. ruthenium plated Giotto nib. The barrel of the Homo Sapiens Dark Crystal is made of transparent smoked resin and is embossed with the name of the collection. The cap features the iconic clip made in shiny black brass (a result achieved through the process of electroplating), and the Visconti logo that stands out against its bright ivory background. The logo on the very end of the cap echoes the dark color of the writing instrument but can be replaced and personalized.
