TACCIA Iro-joukei Urushi Fountain Pen - The Light of Fresh Green Leaves (Limited Edition). After cherry blossoms have blossomed and fallen, they are replaced with vibrant, fresh green leaves. In October 2022, TACCIA began a challenging series, the "Iro-joukei", in which they would release a new urushi fountain pen each month. Each pen would draw inspiration from a special event or sighting during that month. In May 2023, “The Light of Fresh Green Leaves” was released to portray the image of the sprouting green foliage and the reflection of sunlight from the green canopy. The pen barrel is made of ebonite and has a 12-sided design. It has a rare lacquer color tone in a bright light green. The lacquer artist hand paints the lacquer meticulously layer by layer and creates a lovely gradient between the two green lacquers. The pen comes with a Japanese-made 14k-gold nib. Purely handmade, limited to 88 pieces worldwide. A Japanese-made kimono pen pouch is included in the gift box.
