Japanese people have a rice cake named "Sakura-mochi", which is a famous Japanese confection containing red bean paste with cherry-colored dough, covered by salted cherry blossom leave. In March 2023, limited edition "The Cherry Blossoms Leaves" was released, made from exquisite Japanese lacquer art to reproduce the color of the Sakura-mochi. The pen barrel is crafted from ebonite and shaped to have 12 sides. The lacquer artist hand paints sweet pink and green lacquer layer by layer, creating a deliciously gorgeous gradient between the two shades. The pen comes with a Japanese-made Sailor 14k-gold nib.
